Bert & Ernie

On a visit to a client’s home, the artist met their pet otters, Bert & Ernie. He chose to depict them in a bronze sculpture because he wanted to capture their sense of fun and curiosity. Otters are constantly in motion, and are effortlessly graceful. The sculptor has carried that image through the piece by making it S-shaped with smooth and fluid motion.
