Territorial Defense

I have always been incredibly intrigued by the facial expressions of the cougar, and chose to depict those expressions here in bronze. Especially when snarling, this fierce animal contorts its face in a way that evokes fear and respect in anyone with the courage to attempt a close look. To enter the cougar’s dominion requires bold intrepidness, but to witness his snarl is thought by some to be well worth the risk.
