STEP 2: Sculpting

Once the armature is finished, the sculptor begins applying clay and creating the desired form. Additional clay is applied to this surface and carved to bring detail and life to the artwork. The sculptor uses a variety of tools to create his original clay design. This original is signed, numbered and dated by the artist upon completion.
